Horse Boarding

Our boarding facilities here at BarBarry Ranch consist of several very large corrals, stalls with runs and pastures. We have an outdoor arena and there are some very nice private trails that can be accessed off the ranch. The trails have rolling grasslands, lakes, beaches, trees and some short but fairly steep areas to ride. They have some beautiful views, are quiet and serene, and are good for horses and riders to learn on.

We are a small outfit here and have a maximum of 23 horses on the ranch, including our own. We have both English and Western riders here and often go for trail rides together.

People safety and horse safety and health are very important to us. We will do our best to put and keep your horse in the area that best suits your needs but reserve the right to move your horse around according to the horses needs. In other words, we sometimes move horses to ensure that they are not getting beat up by other horses or bullied away from the food.

If you like a big stable atmosphere with lots of activity and an arena always filled with lots of riders, then we are not the place for you. If, on the other hand, you like a laid back atmosphere where things tend to be quiet most of the time and people take the time to chat and get to know each other, then we are just what you are looking for.

We have several pastures for horse boarding ranging from six to fifty acres. Fees for pasturing horses range from $95 to $115 per month depending on proximity to the barn and arena. We have one small corral that holds two horses and several large (large enough for horses to gallop around in) corrals that will hold up to six horses each. Prices range from $175.00 to $190.00 a month for these areas.

Additional fees can include graining, worming, and inoculating and/or medicating your horse for you. Reduction in fees can be arranged for you cleaning your own stall, cleaning one or more of the corrals, helping feed all the horses, etc.
